Our Commercial product teams manage a range of financial products, including Residential Mortgages, Business Lending, and Savings. We’re driven by customer insight and market intelligence, using data to design and develop innovative, digitally delivered products.

This role would suit a highly numerate & driven individual who takes a detail orientated approach whilst being curious and willing to learn. You’ll work across products at different points gaining great exposure & knowledge within a supportive and dynamic team.

You will:

  • Drive Strategic Pricing: Contribute to the development and execution of product pricing strategies that achieve business objectives.
  • Implement Pricing Changes: Manage the implementation of approved pricing adjustments into live systems.
  • Monitor Market Dynamics: Continuously analyse market trends, competitor activities, and performance data to identify opportunities and inform pricing adjustments.
  • Develop Performance Insights: Create and maintain insightful management information reports, encompassing both external and internal performance metrics, to empower management decision-making.
  • Support Key Governance Forums: Contribute to Product Boards and Commercial Committee recommendations and reporting requirements.
  • Inform Product Development: Provide pricing expertise to support the design and development of new products and enhancements, ensuring alignment with strategic initiatives.
  • Collaborate Across Teams: Partner with diverse stakeholders to effectively execute business strategies and plans.
  • Analyse and Resolve Performance Issues: Investigate and address the root causes of underperformance across commercial, customer, and conduct areas.
  • Proactively Manage Risk: Identify, escalate, and support the mitigation of key risks in collaboration with relevant stakeholders.
  • Champion Customer Focus: Ensure customer insights and feedback, combined with market analysis, are central to pricing decisions.

What do we need from you?

  • A strong academic background in a STEM subject.
  • Reside in the North-East of England.
  • Excellent analytical & numerical skills.
  • A meticulous & detailed-orientated approach.
  • Ability to learn and digest large quantities of information quickly.
  • Ability to manage numerous tasks concurrently and produce high quality work at speed.
  • Commercially astute and customer oriented.
  • An awareness of external market trends and Atom’s proposition.
