Our Business Graduate Scheme is designed to develop future leaders equipped to accomplish great things!
Are you ready to launch your career in banking with high-level exposure from day one? Our scheme offers you the chance to make a real impact while developing skills across key areas of our business. Over your two years as a Business Graduate, you will rotate across three of our core departments offering you the best exposure to our inner workings. This comprehensive rotation will equip you with a well-rounded skill set and deep understanding of what drives us forward.
- Operations: gain insight into the day-to-day running of Atom. You’ll play a vital role in streamlining processes whilst enhancing customer experiences, ensuring our digital banking services run smoothly and efficiently. You will be at the heart of innovation, working on projects that improve our operational and customer journey.
- Commercial: get involved in product development, driving business growth by developing tailored solutions that meet financial objectives. You will gain firsthand experience in market analysis, business development and product design, helping to shape the future of our offerings.
- Risk: help safeguard our interests by identifying and mitigating potential threats to the bank. You will develop analytical skills and contribute to strategies that protect our business and customers.

What do we need from you?
- Bachelor’s degree, 2:1 or above
- Recent graduate of two years or graduating 2025
- Resident of the North East as this role requires office attendance
- Excellent communication skills - we need storytellers!
- To be ambitious but also a team-player, as well as an innovative thinker and problem solver
What you’ll get from us:
- £26,500 annual salary (increasing to £28,090 in Year 2)
- Hybrid working (from Year 2)
