Atom’s People Experience team work hard to ensure that our past, present, and potential employees have an inspiring and memorable experience. The team consists of Talent Acquisition, People Business Partners, People Operations, and Learning. Together they design, develop, and deliver an employee journey that represents Atom’s and its strong values throughout.
As a People Operations Coordinator you’ll be a key member of the People Operations Team and be responsible for providing a high quality and efficient employee experience, undertaking all administrative tasks and coordination of the day-to-day payroll and benefits administration.
The People Experience team at Atom all land in the office together on a Tuesday, we then cover other days across the week in office to provide support to our colleagues who are onsite in Durham. Please only apply if you can attend the Durham office a minimum of 2 days a week.
- Employee Experience: Drive a positive employee journey from onboarding to offboarding.
- Payroll & Benefits: Ensure accurate and timely payroll processing and administer our benefits package.
- HR Administration: Manage HR systems, maintain employee records, and provide first-line support.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline processes and enhance efficiency.
What do we need from you?
- Demonstrable experience within a HR or Payroll related role, with a focus on processes or administration
- Strong excel skills, able to undertake manual processing and calculation
- Be able to manage competing & conflicting priorities
- Possess strong attention to detail
- Be comfortable managing stakeholders’ expectations
- Excellent written & verbal communications skills
- A keen eye for process improvement experience
