The Portal guide

Team Atom

The Portal is your one-stop shop for all things business lending at Atom. To help you make the most of it, we’ve put together this guide to break down everything you need to know. Whether you’re generating quotes, submitting a full application or sharing required and supporting documentation with us, we’ve got you covered.

Registering

Registering for the Portal couldn’t be easier. Simply complete this short application form with your contact details.

Once submitted, our BDM team will be in touch to help you get started. They’ll chat you through all the basics of working with Atom and using the Portal, including generating quotes, submitting applications and uploading documents.

How do I access your broker portal?

Once you’ve gone through the registration process, you’ll be set up with an account for the Portal. You can log in by clicking the link in the top right hand corner of every page on our business lending website, or by clicking here.

Generating a quote

You can use our handy Quick Quote tool within the Portal to create instant quotes. In just seconds, you can provide your customer with an indicative view of what we can offer them. The tool can be used for all current products.

We’ve recently introduced a dynamic document checklist as part of the Quick Quote tool. Based on the loan type you have selected, you will be shown the documents you need to submit as part of the application. This means you can start working with your customer to get these documents ready prior to submitting your application. This will help to make the process as quick and simple as possible.

You can also contact your regional BDM who can generate a quote on your behalf. This is useful especially if you have any questions around eligibility or serviceability.

Once you have generated a quote, you can submit a full application within the Portal.

Top tip: If you want to create multiple quotes for the same business (for example, one fixed rate and one variable), you can duplicate your quote and only change the fields you need, rather than starting again with a fresh quote.

Submitting an application

All business lending applications must be submitted via the Portal.

Simply select “Start new application” on the dashboard when you log in, and follow the on-screen steps.

We’ve worked hard to make sure the process is intuitive and easy to follow, but, if you do have any issues, our BDM team is on hand to help. Also, your regional BDM will walk you through the application process during your first welcome call, so you’ll be well acquainted with the Portal when submitting your first application to us.

Sharing documentation with us

We’ve recently introduced a dynamic application checklist to the Portal, that will change depending on your application type. For example, if you are submitting an application for the Recovery Loan Scheme, on the ‘Submission’ screen you will see the minimum requirement for the ‘RLS Application Form’ and ‘Data Protection and Disclosure Form’ to be uploaded and submitted.

If you don’t upload the minimum required documents as part of your application, your submission will not be accepted, so it’s really important you take the time to gather all of the information you need before sending an application through to us.
