Prize Draw Terms and Conditions
- This prize draw is promoted by Atom bank plc, a company incorporated in England and Wales under company registration number 08632552, whose registered office is at The Rivergreen Centre, Aykley Heads, Durham DH1 5TS (Atom).
- The prize draw is open to active Atom customers or those who have been an active Atom customer in the preceding 12 months.
- All entrants must be UK residents aged 18 and over.
- There is no entry fee or purchase necessary to enter the prize draw. Entrants are required to set their SMS, email and push notifications to ‘on’ in the Atom App Communication Preference centre.
- Employees of Atom and their immediate family are not eligible to enter the prize draw.
- The prize draw will run monthly from 1 October 2022 to 1 March 2023.
- Provided your SMS, email and push notifications are set to “on” each month you will be automatically entered into that month’s prize draw. Only one entry per person per month is permitted.
- Atom accepts no responsibility for entries not successfully completed due to a technical fault, technical malfunction, App failure or malfunction, computer hardware or software failure, satellite, network or server failure of any kind.
- A winner will be chosen by random selection on the 1st business day of each month of the prize draw (“Draw Date”).
- The winner will be able to choose either an eco-friendly bluetooth speaker or to have £500-worth of trees planted by Forest Carbon.
- The winner will be notified by email, using the email address attached to your consent/Atom account, no later than 5pm on the 2nd business day after the Draw Date. If a winner does not respond to Atom within 14 calendar days of being notified, then the winner’s prize will be forfeited and Atom will be entitled to select another winner in accordance with the process described above.
- If the winner chooses the eco-friendly House of Marley speaker they must provide Atom with a valid UK address they wish the prize to be sent to.
- The prize for the winner is non-exchangeable, non-transferable and no cash alternative is offered.
- Atom reserves the right to replace the prize with an equivalent or alternative prize of equal or higher value if circumstances beyond Atom’s control makes it necessary to do so.
- The decision of Atom regarding any aspect of the prize draw is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into about it.
- Atom must either publish or make available information that indicates that a valid award took place. To comply with this obligation Atom will send the surname and county of major prize winners to anyone who emails customersupport@atombank.co.uk within one month after the closing date referred to condition 6 above. If you object to any or all of your surname, county and winning entry being published or made available, please contact Atom at customersupport@atombank.co.uk. In such circumstances, Atom must still provide the information and winning entry to the Advertising Standards Authority on request.
- Participants are deemed to have accepted and agreed to be bound by these terms and conditions upon entry. Atom reserves the right to refuse entry into the prize draw or refuse to award the prize to anyone in breach of these terms and conditions.
- Atom reserves the right to hold void, cancel, suspend, or amend the promotion where it becomes necessary to do so.
- Insofar as is permitted by law, Atom, its agents or distributors will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate the winner or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of taking up the prize except where it is caused by the negligence of Atom, its agents or distributors or that of their employees. Your statutory rights are not affected.
- Personal data supplied during the course of this promotion will only be processed as set out in the Atom’s Privacy Policy. See also 16 with regard to the announcement of winners.
- The prize draw will be governed by English law and entrants to the prize draw submit to the jurisdiction of the English courts.
